Papa & Mimi's Visit: War Memorial of Korea & Busan Galbi

Tuesday's are the days that our housekeeper comes and cleans.  She will also watch Michael for me, so we decided to take that time and show my parents the War Memorial of Korea.  It's about a five minute walk from post.

 It was rainy, but we didn't let that stop us from touring the outside of the memorial.  Josh gave us a wonderful tour, telling us all the history behind the airplanes that were on display.

After our tour, we were famished, so we headed to Itaewon to eat at one of our favorite "beef & leaf" restaurants..Busan Galbi.   Galbi is basically Korean style beef ribs. It is served with rice, lettuce leaves, and various Korean side dishes.  I was so proud of my parents for trying everything, including all the sides.  The verdict....they LOVED it!  Another fantastic day in Seoul!
