So here are some highlights of our week:
Ethan has been taking Taekwondo since August and he earned his yellow belt this week!! He was so excited!! His master ( what they call their instructors), ask me if he had ever taken TKD before and I said no. He said "He has great concentration skills and is so attentive. He works really hard and does well". That made this mama proud <3
Ethan also tried out for the post flag football team. He has been wanting to play tackle football for the past four years, but everywhere we have moved he was too young. Same here...they don't have tackle football until high school ( is it bad that part of me is happy about that?). He had a great tryout and might get to play quarterback...we will see next week at practice.
Rachel decided to do cheerleading this fall instead of soccer and she had her first practice this week. There are several girls from our neighborhood on the squad, so she was super excited about that. We rode with C and her mom there. They had a blast!! Afterwards, C came for Rachel's first sleepover in Korea. They watched a movie, ate popcorn, drank lemonade, practiced their cheer, played with barbies and just had fun!
On Wednesday, we hosted our weekly Bible study at our house. Our neighbor J, came over to help Josh kill the the bugs that had come inside....they love their electric bug zappers!
Finally, sweet Caleb finished his first week of school!!!! He is doing so well and we are very proud of him. There were a few tears in the mornings, but by Friday, he was good to go. He's our little "STARMAKER" This is his class and his teacher assistant :)
Until Next Time,
Michelle :)
