Today in Rachel's class at school, her teacher invited all the parents to come in for their class Book Talk. All the kids had to read a chapter book and do a book box project to go along with it. On the box they had to write a summary, tell about the problem & solution, draw & list the characters, make a book cover, and draw a picture about the setting. Then today, all the parents came in and the kids had their desk set up with the book and their boxes. All the parents then went around to each desk and the kids got to share their projects. It was such a neat experience and the kids were SO proud of their hard work! Rachel has been really blessed with a wonderful teacher this year & will miss her alot! I can't believe after next week our baby girl will be a 3rd grader!!
