Family Fun Night: Sundae's to the Rescue!

I love family fun nights around here!  Josh & I started this tradition about two years ago and it is something we all look forward to, especially the kids.  This past week, we had Sundae night!!  We had it a little earlier in the week ( we usually have it on Friday nights) because the kids were getting really anxious about their Daddy coming home, they have missed him so much.  I thought this would be something fun to get their mind off things!

The yummy toppings: Whipped Cream, Oreo Ice Cream, Jelly Beans, Gummi Bears, and M&M's!

So things wouldn't get too crazy, I had each of the kids come up and pick out their toppings!

I just love how happy they were & proud of their creations :)

Of course, mini Josh always has to do something crazy...lol

It was a great night and it really cheered the kids up!!!

Until Next Time,
Michelle

Love How God Works...

Just wanted to share a God-moment with you all....

Most of you know by now that we are moving to Korea over the summer. Last night Rachel & I were having a conversation about our move. Rachel is such a sweetheart and she is one that gets really attached to her friends. She is also always scared she will not have any friends when we move ( even though she always does). So, I told her to pray and God would send her a good friend.

Well, this morning when I went to check my facebook page a lady from Langley AFB had sent me a message. Her husband is a pilot and is at school near Langley VA. She had seen one of my post on a Seoul facebook page asking if there were piano teachers for Rachel. Come to find out, she has a daughter who is also going into the 3rd grade next year and will be moving to Yongsan this summer. She wanted to know if it was ok for her daughter to email Rachel to introduce herself because she was also nervous about meeting someone over there!!! Now, how cool is that!! I told Rachel this morning and she was so excited she could hardly stand it. Love how God works!!

Until Next Time,
Michelle :)

Spring Break is Finally Here!!

YAY!!  Spring break has finally arrived and the Craig household could not be happier!!  It is also our halfway mark until Josh comes home!!!!!

Saturday morning we all slept in and had a very lazy morning, so I broke out the play-doh and our kids couldn't be any happier.  They all played at the table at least an hour...rolling, cutting and creating all kinds of things with their dough :).

You can't have play-doh and not make snakes....

Making sure the play-doh is nice and flat to cut!

Rachel is making food for her pet.....

This is a funny story...my parents came to visit last weekend and the girls went shopping at Potomac Mills. On a side note, if you are ever up this way you have to go there....SO MUCH SHOPPING!!!  Back to the story....my children love Webkins and my mom found a really good deal on them.  For Easter, she bought all of them one to go in their basket from her and my dad.  Well, when we got home she had brought the bag in and we hid it in  a cabinet until they were to go home.  The next day after my parents had left I needed some paper towels, so I asked Ethan to go get some.  All of a sudden I heard him scream.."MOM, where did all these Webkins come from!!!  He was so excited he could hardly stand it."  See my mom left them there and forgot to take them home..and I didn't know that...oops.  So here are their new Webkins :)

Snowball...

Hopper...

Tad the tadpole...

and of course, Daisy the Bulldog

Sunday was a beautiful day!!  Not was I finally able to go to church ( my recovery went well & I'm back to my normal routine!), but the weather was AMAZING!!!  After lunch, the kids and I went outside to enjoy the sunshine.  Caleb had gotten a small kite from his class and had given it to Rachel ( he is so sweet).  She had so much fun going out side and flying it!

Ethan had fun riding his mini-bike

and playing with one of our neighbors & friend

It was such a great and relaxing weekend!! We are really looking forward to a wonderful Spring break!  My parents are coming for a visit and then we are headed to NC!!!!

Until Next Time,

Michelle :)
