GO VOLS!!!!

One of the highlights of our TN trip for Ethan was getting to go to the University of Tennessee campus and see where the VOLS play!  I wish you could have seen the pure joy on his face as he walked into  Neyland Stadium....priceless.  I can't imagine what his reaction will be when he finally gets to go to a real game!

TN Time: Day 2

On day two of our time in TN, we spent just hanging out with our family.  We woke up to a wonderful breakfast made by Josh's mom and Ethan decided he wanted to try his first cup of coffee.  He had drank a cappuccino before, but this time he had the real thing ( excuse the bedhead...lol)

Ethan took a couple of sips and decided he likes my "foo foo" coffee alot better ( I don't blame him).

After breakfast time, we all got ready to head to Mamaw June's house to spend time with the Radford side of the family.  We loved catching up with everyone & enjoying some great food!

The night before, Papaw had found this nest in the top of his lawn mower, so he moved it under the steps of their house.  We checked on it before we left to see if the mom had come back, but she wasn't there :(

TN Time: Day 1

Before we head off to Korea for 2 years, we took time to go to TN for a couple of days and spend time with Josh's side of the family ( we will go see mine after that).

One of the kids favorite things to do when they come to TN is ride Papaw's lawn mower and catch fireflies.  So sure enough when they hopped out of the van that 's the first thing asked to do and Papaw was happy to oblige.

Talent Show...

Our children LOVE their cousins, both in TN & NC.  One of their favorite things to do when they are in TN is go to Mamaw June's house and play with their cousins.  The past two times we have been for a visit, the kids have put on a talent show.  This time I was prepared and brought my camera.  They cracked us up....such variety...there was dancing, playing, & some you will have to see to believe.  Most of all they made memories that they will cherish with them forever.  Here's a little peek...

Until We Meet Again...

I can't believe it is finally here, but this past week was our last one in VA!  It is amazing just how fast the year went by.  We had such a busy week!  Monday the packers came and picked up our household goods, Tuesday they picked up our express shipment, Thursday they packed our storage & the cleaning  company came to clean our house, and Friday they picked up all of our storage & the carpet cleaners came.  WHEW!

We are truly blessed with four amazing kids!! They did such a great job entertaining themselves while all of this was going on.  It also helped to have some electronic devices around, especially on the days it rained!!  They were so thankful for Friday to finally come because they knew everything would be finished.

Even though physically this was one of the hardest years for me, as a family we truly enjoyed our time in Virginia and look forward to our next adventure!!  KOREA here we come !!!!
